Scarlett Johansson visits AIDS clinics

Lost In Translation actress does her bit for charity

OMG! Someone should introduce Scarlett Johansson to a comb
Scarlett Johansson is a global ambassador for the aid and development agency, Oxfam

Scarlett Johansson is on her way back from Africa, where she visited several AIDS clinics.

The actress spent four days in Rwanda with charity (RED) to raise awareness of the disease.

‘It was important for me to come here and see the issues we're up against firsthand,’ Scarlett said in a statement.

‘I came here with an open mind, wanting to listen, understand and learn.

'I leave with the overwhelming understanding that the small action of making a (RED) choice in your purchases...has an enormous impact on the lives of people in countries like Rwanda.’

Scarlett, 23, admitted in 2006 that she had two HIV tests a year.

She is engaged to Ryan Reynolds, 31.
