Robbie Williams splits from girlfriend Ayda Field

Singer wants to concentrate on new album

Robbie Williams last released an album in 2006

Robbie Williams has broken up with Ayda Field – after 14 months together.

The pair are thought to have decided to call time on their relationship to concentrate on their careers.

Robbie, 34, is busy working on his next album, while Ayda, 29, is a budding actress.

‘He is absolutely gutted the relationship has ended,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.

‘He thought Ayda was his soulmate, and the most beautiful woman he has ever met, so he was desperate for it to work.

‘Unfortunately, the timing was not right for them, and after being on-off for a while they've finally decided to call it quits.'

The lovers are also said to have grown apart because of their different lifestyles.

‘Ayda wanted to go to a few more parties and meet people,’ adds the source.

‘But Robbie has shunned the party-loving lifestyle for a quieter, less public life, only occasionally popping to the Chateau Marmont for drinks.'
