Suzanne Shaw was voted Celebrity Mum Of The Year 2008

Suzanne Shaw reveals she turned to anti-depressants after Darren Day walked out shortly after she gave birth to their son.

The former Hear’Say singer was dumped by Darren on Mother's Day saying he 'didn't do family'.

‘It was just that, rather than dealing with the situation, I would rather go out and be in denial,’ she says.

‘I just went out and tried to find some way of enjoying myself.’

Suzanne, 26, is now happily settled with DJ fiancé Jason King. Her son Corey is now 3.

‘That’s all behind me. Everything’s so different now,’ she tells Take 5. ‘I never thought it was possible but I didn’t stop trying.’
