She says they need to feel they're in charge

Fashion designer Zandra Rhodes believes a successful relationship works when men are given control.
‘Men are much more insecure than they make out,’ she says.
‘And I think that, in the main, a successful woman has to bow down to a man if they want the relationship to work.’
Zandra, 67, admits her views have strengthened her 24-year relationship with Salah Hassanein.
‘Men can’t cope with a successful woman,’ she tells Observer Woman magazine.
‘I’m quite old and wise now, and my partner’s a lot older than me, so to some extent it’s all right.
'But I think in a sense the wife has to always be the supporter of the husband.’
