Actor says he'd love to teach women the truth about men
Sunday, 21 September 2008
Torchwood actor John Barrowman says it’s ok for men to cheat on each other because their attitudes to sex are more relaxed.
John, who has been with civil partner Scott Gill for 15 years, reveals that before they settled down, he continued sleeping around.
‘When a guy strays and ends up with someone else, it’s not a big deal,’ he says. ‘Sex for men is external. I think it’s hard for women to realise this.
‘The first time I saw Scott I knew he was the one. We saw each other casually for about a year, but before it got serious I had my fair share of wham-bam.’
John, 41, who's also starred in Any Dream Will Do and I’d Do Anything, says he could teach women about handling the opposite sex.
‘I'd love to lecture women on men,’ he tells Observer Woman. ‘I’d tell them everything about men: how we’re all the same, how we’re all bastards.
'[But] men know what men want – in and out of bed.’
