Muhammad Ali's daughter Laila has a baby boy

Boxing legend's girl and husband have first child

Laila Ali has given birth to a baby boy and named him after her husband - and her famous dad Muhammad Ali.

The Dancing With The Stars contestant and Curtis Conway welcomed Curtis Muhammad Conway Jnr on 26 August.

'He’s a healthy baby boy who weighed 6.8lbs and measured 19 inches long,’ she writes on her official blog. 'Mama and baby are resting!'

Announcing her pregnancy in May, Laila said: 'I'm excited that I have a life inside me that my husband and I created.

‘I am 100 percent undeniably happy. I've never been able to say that before.’

Laila, 30, and former NFL player Curtis, 37 – who has three other kids - married in California last summer.
