And rapper's bodyguard is taken into custody

Kanye West was flying out to Hawaii

Kanye West was arrested yesterday on suspicion of vandalism after rowing with a photographer.

His bodyguard was also taken into custody following the scuffle at Los Angeles International Airport.

An airport spokesman said a camera valued at more than £5,000 was damaged.

The arrest was first reported by TMZ, which posted video showing a man in a grey hoodie, identified by the site as Kanye.

The man throws a camera to the ground and another man in a red jacket grabs the person holding the video camera.

TMZ reported that it was its videographer who was attacked.

Kanye, 31, is now out on £10,000 bail.
