RocknRoller actor isn't a fan of the director
Sunday, 19 October 2008
Idris Elba has admitted that working on RocknRolla with Guy Ritchie was a difficult experience.
The actor, who co-stars with Gerard Butler in the movie, doesn’t show much love for the 40 year-old director.
‘He’s a w*nker,’ he says. ‘Guy’s very calm and collected on the outside and he works extensively on trying to rid himself of any kind of angst.
‘He has interesting people skills: he sort of engages with you and at the same time has his mind elsewhere.’
Despite the fact they're now divorcing, Idris, 35, says it was common for 50-year-old Madonna to be on set – and he didn’t notice any tension between her and Guy.
‘It was very surreal when his wife would show up,’ he tells The Knowledge. ‘They were seemingly fine.’
