Actor says people get confused about his sexuality

Robert Downey Jr admits sexuality is a grey area – which is why many people question if he's gay or straight.
When dating Sarah Jessica Parker in the 1980s he often wore frilly outfits even her Sex And The City character Carrie might balk at.
‘A lot of my peer group think I’m an eccentric bisexual,’ he says. ‘That’s OK. Being relaxed about sexuality is something you’re born with.’
Robert, 43, has been married to Susan Levin for 3 years and is laid back about other people's opinions.
‘My identity was written on the wall by ancient and formidable guides and forces,’ he tells The Sunday Times magazine. ‘The best thing I can do is keep my hand out of it.’

The fact that Robert Downey wore Sarah's gowns doesn't neccesarily make him bi-sexual. At the worst it would make him a cross-dresser. Even if he was bi, who cares?!! I would think that more attention should be paid to the fact that he beat his addiction to chemicals. What he may or may not do in his personal life is just that-"personal". I really think that the fact that he overcame his own demons is testament to his character. If he wants to wear women's house clothing, who cares?!!
It's been rumoured for years all in Hollywood that Robert is indeed very bisexual. No big secret there!
