Supermodel helps out at homeless centre
Wednesday, 10 September 2008
Naomi Campbell completed her first day of community service yesterday.
The supermodel is helping out at the Whitechapel Mission soup kitchen in east London.
But she is said to have arrived 10 minutes late because her limo driver got lost.
Naomi, 38, who worked all day, apparently made up the time by taking a shorter lunch break.
She must do 200 hours of work at the homeless shelter after she admitted assaulting two police officers during a row over lost luggage at Heathrow Airport in April.
‘She’s very conscientious and determined to get stuck in and give 100 per cent to her community service,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.
‘She knows she's made mistakes and is happy to take the consequences. She wants to put something back into society.’
