Dannii Minogue blames parents for failed romances

The X Factor star strives to be as happy as they are

Australian singer Dannii Minogue is a judge on ITV show The X Factor

Dannii Minogue says her mum and dad are responsible for her unsuccessful love life.

The X Factor judge wants to find a relationship that's as good as theirs.

‘I curse my parents,’ she says. ‘I say to them: “It’s your fault I’m single.”

'They have been married forever and have the best relationship, and we have too much to live up to.

'They gave us such a great childhood. My mum stayed at home while my dad went to work and I have such high hopes to recreate that.’

Dannii, 36, is dating rugby hunk Kris Smith.

She was briefly married to actor Julian McMahon, 40, in the 90s and was engaged to Formula 1 driver Jacques Villeneuve.
