Singer's mum says split from former N'Sync star left her 'scarred' for years

Britney Spears’ mum Lynne believes her daughter’s break-up with Justin Timberlake is at the root of her recent troubles.
The pair split in 2002 after dating for 3 years, and Lynn believes the singer struggled to find someone to replace the 27-year-old SexyBack star.
‘I wish they would have parted differently, rather than to hurt each other and leave all those scars,’ she says.
‘Almost 2 years after she and Justin had broken up, Britney was still wounded. She started to act out of pain, in an effort to numb her disappointment and heartache.’
Lynne, 54, admits her relationship with her 26-year-old daughter has been difficult in the past..
‘Britney would lash out at me, accusing me of siding with Kevin Federline and letting him have the boys,’ she says in her new book Through The Storm – A Real Story Of Fame And Family In A Tabloid World.
‘In fact, she refused to speak to me, and our estrangement lasted an excruciating 7 months.’

How about a courtesy flush for that massive load of crap? People get divorced after ten, sometimes twenty years of marriage and they don't go out and make a total human wreck of themselves. This isn't about Justin or how britney felt about justin or the breakup or any of that garbage. I give this theory a hearty FAIL!
