Mica Paris: My lover turned into a 'stalker'

TV presenter says her Italian boyfriend wouldn't accept the end of their relationship

Mica Paris’s whirlwind romance with Italian Francesco Niccolato turned into living hell, she reveals.

The 39-year-old mother of 2 claims he became obsessive after she ended their relationship earlier this year.

'The phone would ring up to 20 times a day. If I answered, he would beg me to come back to him,' she says.

‘He bombarded me with emails saying I was placing my career before family. I begged him to leave me alone. He just didn’t stop. It was like being stalked and I was more afraid.’

Mica alleges it was only when she spoke to the police that her 28-year-old ex left her alone.

‘The whole experience has shaken me to the core,’ she tells Weekend. ‘I don’t know if I’ll ever meet anyone else, but I’m an optimist and I hope I will.’
