Former housemate questioned over row with Dennis McHugh
Thursday, 4 September 2008
Mohamed Mohamed is to be questioned by police over the ‘spitgate’ incident in the Big Brother house.
The contestant, 24, who left the show on Tuesday in a surprise eviction, is to be asked if he wishes to press charges against Dennis McHugh after he spat in his face during a heated row.
The dance teacher, 23, was removed from the house and quizzed by police, who said it amounted to common assault. But they couldn't take it further until they had spoken to Mohamed.
The argument started when Rex Newmark, 24, smudged a painting by Jennifer Clark, 22.
‘I’m afraid I can’t talk about that for legal reasons,’ Mohamed tells the Daily Star.
