Businessman postpones court hearing
Thursday, 4 September 2008
Raffaello Follieri is to remain in prison another week at his own request, according to reports.
The businessman, who split from Anne Hathaway in June, is said to have asked the court for a preliminary hearing to be postponed until 12 September.
It is thought Raffaello could use the time to try and work out a plea deal, rather than face 12 counts of fraud, which could result in a lengthy jail term.
He was arrested on 24 June – just days after Anne, 25, ended their four-year relationship.
