Katherine Heigl: You shouldn't try too hard to find Mr Right

The Grey's Anatomy star gives her advice on looking for a soul mate

Katherine Heigl has revealed her secret to finding the perfect partner: believe in yourself.

The 27 Dresses star, who married musician Josh Kelley, 28, last December, thinks you shouldn't work too hard at attracting a man.

'My advice to someone looking for Mr Right? Never try too hard,' she says. 'I wouldn’t pursue any guy who didn’t really show interest. I felt in that case I should move on and find someone else who was more interested.'

Katherine, 29, met Josh when she starred in the video for his single Only You. And she thinks women these days should learn to respect themselves more.

'Any time you try too hard to get someone’s attention, it lessens your value,' she tells Now Celebrity Weddings. 'And all us girls should value ourselves.'
