Singer says she owes a lot to her father
Wednesday, 3 September 2008
Britney Spears has credited her dad with putting her on the road to recovery.
The singer has been under his guidance since she was hospitalised in January.
And she reckons she wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for Jamie, 56.
'My father saved my life,' she tells the Daily Star. 'I probably wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him.
'I've not always been a good daughter, but he basically gave up his job and his life to look after me at the time when I wasn't even sure I wanted to go on living. I owe him my life.'
Since he was appointed to look after Britney, 26, her dad is said to have hired her a personal trainer, chef, alcohol counsellor and lifestyle coach.
