Frontman Kelly Jones says the band would like the footballer to join them

Wayne Rooney has been approached by the Stereophonics about appearing in their new music video.
The band, who performed at the Manchester United footballer’s wedding to Coleen McLoughlin in June, say they’d love to have him on board.
‘We all agree that it’s an honour to have the best football star in the world like our stuff,’ frontman Kelly Jones tells Daily Star Sunday. ‘We’re up for it if he is.’
Wayne and Coleen, both 22, tied the knot in Portofino, Italy, in June.
