Friend says one more overdose could kill soul star
Sunday, 7 September 2008
Amy Winehouse's years of drug abuse could have caused permanent brain damage, a close friend has claimed.
And the singer is reported to be in such an unbalanced mental state that she could even be a suicide risk.
The pal says doctors have advised Amy, 24, that one more overdose could kill her.
‘She is in need of years of psychiatry and medical treatment if she has a hope,’ a friend tells The Sun. 'The future is bleak, bleak, bleak.'
Amy is facing legal action after pulling out of a festival in Paris last week due to illness.
