Jade Goody has given her first TV interview since being diagnosed with cervical cancer – and says she feared she could end up dying of the illness.
The reality star was told she had the disease last month when appearing on Bigg Boss, the Indian version of Big Brother.
‘I was like: “What’s the problem?”’ she tells GMTV. ‘And [the doctor] said it’s about the pre-cancer cells. And I was like: “What, have they come back?” And he said: “No, it’s not pre-cancer any more, it’s cancer.”
‘And so from that moment I think cancer, chemo, death. Because that’s all I know of it.’
As part of her treatment, the mum of two will have a hysterectomy, which means she won’t be able to have any more children.
Jade, 27, who is to start chemo next week, was snapped yesterday looking more upbeat as she went fishing with sons Bobby, 5, and Freddie, 3, and ex Jack Tweed during a break in Wales.
‘Jade looked on very good,’ an onlooker tells The Sun.
Meanwhile Jack, 21, has been given a prison sentence today for an attack on a teenage.
