Kate Middleton is set to be immortalised at one of London's most famous attractions.

Madame Tussauds has apparently started creating a waxwork of Prince William's girlfriend, to be shown at its famous museum.

‘There is a huge buzz surrounding the couple,’ an insider tells the Daily Star Sunday. ‘We had to make sure we were prepared so we’ve already started work on Kate’s figure.’

The couple, both 26, have been dating since 2002 and royal watchers predict an engagement announcement before the end of the year.

‘Once she officially becomes part of the Royal Family we’ll be able to showcase her statue,’ the source says. ‘We don’t think that date is too far off now.’
