Lindsay Lohan's granddad dies

But her father Michael Lohan uses family tragedy to hit out at ex wife Dina

Friday, 29 August 2008

Lindsay Lohan is said to be devastated after her grandfather passed away yesterday.

Her estranged father Michael, 48, broke the news to a US website – but used the publicity to hit out at his family.

‘My father died in my arms,’ he tells US OK! Online. ‘I notified all my kids and my lawyer notified Dina's attorney.

‘Let's see if she has the decency and respect to bring my kids to the wake and funeral.’

Richard Lohan, 73, died from colon cancer.
