Sir Paul McCartney slams Gordon Ramsay for veggie jibe

Musician has enjoyed a meat-free diet for 30 years

Friday, 29 August 2008

Sir Paul McCartney says Gordon Ramsay talks ‘stupid’ when it comes to vegetarians.

Gordon, 41, recently admitted he’d be upset if his children didn't want to eat meat anymore.

But Macca, 66, thinks the world would be a better place if we stuck to veg.

‘I will talk to people about the advantages of vegetarianism and it will upset me if we've had a good conversation and they turn around and say something stupid,’ he tells Sainsbury's magazine.

‘I just read a quote from Gordon Ramsay... but even that I would forgive because it's not my affair, it's not up to me if he talks stupid or not.'

Gordon recently persuaded 50 vegetarians to eat veal on Channel 4 show The F Word.

‘My biggest nightmare would be if the kids ever came up to me and said, “Dad, I'm a vegetarian”,’ he recently confessed.

‘Then I would sit them on the fence and electrocute them.’

Who does McCartney think he is lecturing anyone about anything? Ramsey is well known for his idiotic ramblings. Was it the "id sit him on a fence and electrocute him" comment he found distasteful? Well by agreeing to go and play in apartheid israel he will be entertaining thugs that build fences/seperation walls right through indigenous peoples homes and towns and would shoot them dead should their father dare to "sit them on the fence and electrocute them" for wanting to be a veggie. Disgraceful by the way Paul, truly sad.

Go Paul! Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but mine is with Paul. As for ramsay persuading 50 veggies to eat veal, that's disgusting. Not Ramsay, but the 5o so-called "veggies." I get offended by people who eat fish and still claim to be vegetarian, but people who claim to be then go eat meat? Talk about weak morals!
