Hilary Duff's dad jailed

Judge finds him in contempt of court during bitter divorce battle

Hilary Duff has not commented about her father

Hilary Duff’s father was led away in handcuffs yesterday after being found in contempt of court.

Judge Thomas Stansbury said Bob Duff had broken an injunction that prevented him selling assets without the court's approval. The injunction was put in place as part of his ongoing divorce battle with the actress’s mum Susan.

He will serve 10 days in jail and has been ordered to deposit with the court the £183,769 ($367,537) he made from the sale of stocks.

Hilary, 20, was not at the hearing in Houston, Texas.
