The Queen is said to have advised jobless Kate Middleton to get involved helping others, because HRH fears her 'workshy' public image could be damaging.
Kate has been unemployed since she quit her role as a buyer for fashion chain Jigsaw last year.
But seniors royals are said to be keen to see her take on a suitable job – such as with a charity – before Prince William proposes.
‘There's concern that Kate Middleton still does not have a job,’ a source tells The Mail On Sunday.
‘The Queen is keen that the Monarchy should lead by example and that princes and their girlfriends should all be seen as hard workers. [She] feels Kate should get involved in charity, something proactive and safe.'
Kate and William, both 26, have been dating for over 6 years. It's strongly rumoured that he'll propose before the end of the year.
