Kate Moss has revealed that her hectic schedule was responsible for her waif-like figure when she started modelling in her teens.
The supermodel admits she barely ate – not because she was trying to lose weight but because she didn't have time.'When I was doing shows and flying economy, nobody ever fed me,' she says. 'Or I'd be staying in hotels so cheap that by the time I'd get in, there wasn't any room service.
'I didn't eat for a long time. Not on purpose. You'd be on shoots with bad food or get on a plane and the food would be so disgusting you couldn't eat it.
'You go to a show and there's no food at all, so if you're doing shows back to back, you can forget eating.'
Kate, 34, says she used to hate her skinny frame.
'I remember standing in the bath one day and there was a mirror in front of me and I was so thin. I hated it,' she tells Interview magazine. 'I was never anorexic, I was never bony-bony. But I remember thinking: "I don't want to be this skinny."
'Bow legs. Crooked teeth. That is what makes you different from everyone else,' she adds. 'But when I was 15, I was like: "Oh no, I don't want to be different. I want to look like Cindy Crawford."'
