Hairspray actress Amanda Bynes in car crash

Star's motor in collision with another vehicle

Hairspray actress Amanda Bynes was at fault over the accident in LA on Saturday

Amanda Bynes has been involved in a minor car accident.

The Hairspray actress, 22, was driving through LA on Saturday when another vehicle hit her.

Nobody was seriously injured in the crash.

‘Ms Bynes was driving a BMW when she made an unsafe turn and another car hit her,’ police officer Murrel Pettway reveals.

‘It was determined that she was at fault, but no crime was committed. The other driver complained of minor injuries.’

He confirmed that neither driver was under the influence.

‘Drugs and alcohol were not involved,’ he tells People.

‘It was just a typical car accident. There was no serious damage to either vehicle.’
