Richard and Judy to host final show today

Couple leave Channel 4 after seven years

Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan were the original hosts of ITV's This Morning

Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan will host their last show on Channel 4 today.

The couple began presenting Richard & Judy seven years ago after leaving ITV’s This Morning.

The hour-long programme, to be screened at 5pm this evening, will look back at their time on the show.

But the pair won’t be leaving TV screens for good.

Judy, 60, says their fans have convinced them to continue working on multi-channel TV service Watch.

‘When we announced our decision to leave our current television series after seven years, we were very touched by the number of people who told us how much they wanted to see us continuing making programmes together,’ she said recently.

Watch is due to launch in October.
