Pair making track for her comeback album

Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake met as children on a Disney show

Former lovers Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake are reuniting to record a single.

The track will apparently feature on the Toxic singer's comeback album.

The pair, who split in March 2002, were meant to work together on her last record Blackout.

But Britney, 26, is believed to have missed the recording session.

A rep for Justin, 27, denies the reports, insisting JT 'is not scheduled to be in the recording studio with Britney'.

Britney’s new album is due to be released later this year.
