TV presenter plans to go under the knife
Saturday, 30 August 2008
Ulrika Jonsson says she's owed cosmetic surgery because she's been rearing children for more than a decade.
‘It will soon be time for me to reclaim my [body],’ she says.
‘To that end I shall, hopefully, be joining the 2,000 or more women who undergo a breast reduction every year.
‘It’s not vanity which is driving me towards it – more a feeling of merit. Quite frankly, I think I deserve it.’
The TV presenter went from a 34D to 34I during her last pregnancy.
‘I feel I have generously donated my body, including my boobs, over a period of 14 years to the creation of my extraordinary brood,' she tells Femail magazine.
'And it is an unavoidable fact of life that when you empty over a stone of breast, you are left with excess skin and, trust me, very little substance.’
Ulrika, 40, married her third husband, ad exec Brian Monet, 39, in March this year.
She gave birth to her fourth child, Malcolm, in June, and has three other kids - Cameron, 13, Bo, 7, and Martha, 4.
