Friday, 22 August 2008
Jay-Z’s reignited his feud with Noel Gallagher by singing about him on his latest track.
The pair fell out when the Oasis guitarist criticised the decision to have the rapper headline Glastonbury in June.
Jay-Z retorted by beginning his set at the festival with the band's 1995 hit Wonderwall.
And in the lyrics of Jockin’ Jay-Z, which has been produced by Kanye West, 31, the hip hop legend has another swipe at Noel, 41.
‘That bloke from Oasis said I couldn’t play guitar/ Someone shoulda told him I’m a mutha******* rock star/ Today is gonna be the day that I’m gonna throw it back to you/ I’m living life as a rocker,’ he sings.
Jay-Z will release his album The Blueprint 3 later this year.
