Madonna tour to feature £1m worth of jewels

Singer also has 3,500 items of clothing for show

Madonna's 27-date world tour kicks of at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium

Madonna’s new tour is set to be her most extravagant yet – it will feature £1million worth of Swarovski crystals.

The singer is also thought to have over 3,500 items of clothing for her and for her backing dancers.

Madge, 50, hits the road tomorrow with an entourage of 250 people.

Each gig is expected to be broken up into four themes - pimp, old school, gypsy and rave.

Pimp will pay homage to 1920s art deco styles and old school has a strong emphasis on 1980s disco.

Gypsy will feature Romanian folk music, while Far Eastern influences dominate the rave section.

The Sticky & Sweet tour kicks off tomorrow at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium.
