Ulrika Jonsson has criticised high-profile mums who snap back into shape after having babies.
‘I felt like tearing up those pictures of Nicole Kidman and Halle Berry when they popped up with ironing board-flat stomachs days after giving birth,’ she says. ‘[They] take all the fun out of bring pregnant.
‘Those who bounce back to skinniness just after pregnancy must have super-high metabolisms – and a fleet of chefs at home constantly preparing macrobiotic food,’ she tells the Daily Mail.
‘They must restrict themselves terribly and that can’t be right?’
The 40-year-old TV presenter gave birth to her forth child in June. She refused to watch what she ate during her pregnancy and put on 5st. And she plans to take her time regaining her figure.
'If I'm craving a bowl of peanuts or a slab of chocolate, I'll tuck in,' she says.
Ulrika has 4 children. Cameron, 13, by first husband cameraman John Turnbull; Bo, 7, with German businessman Markus Kempen; Martha, 4, by second husband Lance Gerrard-Wright, who she met when hosting dating show Mr Right; and Malcolm, 12 weeks, with third husband Brian Monet, an American advertising executive.
