Ingrid Tarrant has revealed the physical side effects she suffered as a result of her split from husband Chris Tarrant.
The couple’s 15-year marriage fell apart in 2006 after it emerged Chris, 62, had a 10-year affair with school teacher Fiona McKechnie.
‘I developed a ridiculously long list of symptoms: insomnia, upset stomach, irritability, hair loss, weight loss, mouth ulcers and abscesses, weak nails and exhaustion,’ she tells The Mail on Sunday.
‘My gums became sore and inflamed, then two of my teeth became so loose I had to have them removed.
‘I’m now going through the lengthy and costly process of replacing them with implants.’
The 53-year-old won a reported £12.5million in the couple's divorce settlement in April - half of the presenter's estimated £25million fortune.
Ingrid and Chris - her second husband - have two children together, Samantha, 18, and Toby, 16.
