Jon Voight has only recently mended his relationship with Angelina Jolie

Jon Voight has hit out at Roseanne Barr for her attack on his daughter Angelina Jolie and partner Brad Pitt.

The comic posted a scathing blog about the couple, claiming they only donate money to charity 'to look as if they give a c**p about humanity.’

Roseanne, 55, also criticised Angelina, 33, for not publicly pledging support for US presidential candidate Barack Obama.

But Ange's dad Jon, 69, with whom she's had a rocky relationship, has dismissed the comments as ‘vile evil’.

He also highlighted an occasion when Roseanne performed the national anthem at a baseball game in 1990, when she screeched, grabbed her crotch and spat.
