Actress blames him for her fall from grace

Meg Ryan is convinced her appearance on Michael Parkinson's show is responsible for her lack of popularity in the UK.
In October 2003, the TV presenter interviewed the 43-year-old actress, who was promoting the movie In the Cut.
But her refusal to answer many of the questions led to an awkward conversation.
'His chat show has a lot to answer for, the UK public loathe me thanks to him,' she tells Metro.
Last year, Sir Michael, 73, retired from his long-running show.

Personally, I think she deserves a lot of the flak for what she did in that interview, granted he was no angel, but what do you expect? she came right on, steely gaze and bitchy/cold comments for the entire interview.
I'm a big fan of Meg Ryan and I think it was the way Michael Parkinson conducted the interview. Very unprofessional. How does he expect his guest to respond when he's a jerk? Meg did nothing wrong. In the US no one knows or cares about Parkinson, but Meg has a HUGE fan base.
Kate, don't you see the point here...US popularity is not gained by substance or intelligence like Parkinson, but arrogance like Meg Ryan (and comparisons of fanbases).
i can't express how i love being a fun of Ryan she is more than the kind of people i have ever dream of meeting is my burning desire
