Pervert ordered to go back to Thailand
Thursday, 21 August 2008
Gary Glitter has been forced to return to Bangkok after being denied entry into Hong Kong.
The convicted paedophile flew to China yesterday afternoon, after refusing to board a plane to the UK.
Earlier he claimed he was having a heart attack and was rushed to the VIP area of Bangkok airport.
He is not allowed into Thailand and could be taken to a detention centre if he continues to refuse to leave.
‘We are barring entry to Paul Francis Gadd and will be deporting him to his home country, England, unconditionally,’ said a Thai police spokesman.
‘Even if he does not wish to board the plane.’
Gary, 64, served 27 months in a Vietnamese prison for sexually abusing two local girls, aged 10 and 11.
When he arrives back in London he will be forced to sign the sex offenders’ register.
