Gwyneth Paltrow has angered animal rights campaigners over a series of ads.
She is fronting the autumn collection of Italian clothing company Tod's and, in one picture, is seen draped in fox fur.
PETA has criticised the actress, who has a daughter Apple, 4, and son Moses, 2, with vegetarian Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
‘Gwyneth Paltrow won't be the apple of her daughter's eye if she continues to flaunt fur,’ says a PETA spokesman.
‘It's a terrible example to set for a young child, promoting an industry that electrocutes animals, snaps their necks and skins them alive.’
PETA claims to have approached Gwyn, 35.
‘We've written to her many times, and sent her videos showing how animals suffer for fur, but have never received a response,’ the spokesman tells The Independent On Sunday.
‘Apparently her beauty really is only skin deep.’
Gwyneth was not available for comment.
