Lily Allen blames record label for album delay

Singer insists her new tracks are complete

Lily Allen bares all
Lily Allen says she might go on another holiday as she has nothing to do

Lily Allen says changes at her record company have delayed the release of her second album.

The singer insists she finished the follow-up to Alright, Still some time ago.

‘[The album] has been finished for a while now,’ she writes on her MySpace blog. ‘I don't really know what's going on with it.

‘The record industry is a very political place at the moment and I am on EMI Records.

'Lots of people have been fired or have taken redundancy recently as the company was taken over by a private equity firm called Terra Firma.

'Many of these people were people assigned to my projects.’

Lily, 23, has tentatively called the album Stuck On The Naughty Step.
