Donnie Wahlberg and wife Kim Fey to divorce

Couple separate after 9 years of marriage

Donnie Wahlberg and his wife Kim Fey have been living apart since January

Donnie Wahlberg and his wife Kim Fey have filed for divorce.

The couple, who have been married for 9 years, cited irreconcilable differences, according to court documents.

‘[They've] been separated for some time now and remain friends,’ a rep tells People.

Kim, 39, is said to be seeking sole custody of their sons Xavier, 15, and Elijah, 7, with visitation rights for Donnie.

She also wants spousal support and lawyer’s fees from the singer, the brother of actor Mark Wahlberg, 37.

Donnie, 39, made a comeback with boy band New Kids On The Block earlier this year.

Their new album The Block is out on 2 September.
