Isaac Hayes’s life was celebrated in an emotional funeral service held in Memphis at the weekend.
The actor died at his home in Tennessee on 10 August after suffering a stroke.
Over 500 mourners, including Tom Cruise, 46, Denzel Washington, 53, and Wesley Snipes, 46, attended the ceremony, which was presided over by an official from The Church of Scientology.
Following the service, the town's Majestic City Grill celebrated his time as a star by decorating the restaurant with photos of him.
Isaac, 65, was famous for his role as the chef in South Park.
He is survived by 12 children.

I can't believe Al Joyner was not mentioned as one of the spotlight celebs to mourn the loss of an icon of a musician. Al Joyner, a close personal friend to Isaac Hayes's daughter; honored the already honorable crowd of mourners. Thank you Al for showing your love to a great great man!!
"...was famous for his role as the chef in South Park" ? How about grammy award winning musician?
Isaac Hayes was famous for a LOT more than South Park!!! This blurb lacks even the most basic depth. RIP Isaac!
