TV presenter won’t answer calls

TV presenter Fearne Cotton says she prefers texting to making phone calls

Fearne Cotton says she has a fear of phones and won't answer calls.

The TV presenter, 26, is even considering moving to Scotland to escape being pestered.

‘I hate it,’ she says. ‘I can't be bothered, but texting is easy.

'Maybe I'll just move to the Highlands and live in a log cabin with no phone. It sounds fabulous.

'I've already got two cats so I will definitely be a mad old cat lady some day.’

But best pal Holly Willoughby, 27, says her habit of avoiding calls can be frustrating.

‘Fearne won't ever pick up the phone because she's got a phone phobia,’ she tells the Daily Record.

‘I had to tell Fearne off because her old answer phone message was “Hi it's Fearne, leave a message but there's no point because I won't call you back”.’
