Max Drummey: I'm terrified of meeting Sir Bob Geldof

Peaches Geldof's husband is yet to see father-in-law

Peaches Geldof married Chester French rocker Max Drummey in Las Vegas

Max Drummey has spoken out about his shock wedding to Peaches Geldof.

The musician tied the knot with the socialite in Las Vegas earlier this month, without either of their families present.

And Max reckons Peaches' dad Sir Bob Geldof has every right to be cautious.

‘He’s always been friendly, but as you’d expect he has what I call a healthy scepticism about me,’ Max tells the Daily Mirror.

'I think any father would if their daughter got married the way we did. I’m terrified of meeting him face to face.

'But that’s going to happen soon – it’s all been arranged.’

Sir Bob is currently on holiday with Peaches, 19, in Majorca.

‘It’s been a really tough week for us,’ Sir Bob tells the News Of The World. ‘Really stressful.

'We came out here to relax and be out of the limelight. I want to protect my daughter right now.’
