Lindsay Lohan 'had year-long lesbian affair'

Actress said to have dated Courtenay Semel before friendship with Samantha Ronson

Lindsay Lohan is alleged to have had a relationship with another girl before she met Samantha Ronson.

The actress is said to have enjoyed a secret year-long affair with 25-year-old Courtenay Semel.

‘Everyone thinks Samantha is Lindsay’s first lesbian love,’ Courtenay is said to have told a pal.

‘We were very passionate until her fear of being found out drove us apart. At the time she was terrified her career would be over if she revealed her sexual tendencies. But then Samantha came on to the scene and I was dropped.’

It's claimed Lindsay, 22, was bedding a string of men to cover up her true feelings for Courtenay.

'She met Lindsay in the summer of 2006 at a party in Malibu,' the pal tells the News Of The World.

'From the start Lindsay was very confused about her feelings so did more and more drugs to stifle the sexual attraction she was experiencing.

'But eventually she just gave in and at every party they’d kiss and touch each other. It’s a miracle nobody found out.'

Lindsay, who checked out of rehab earlier this year, was first linked to Sam, 31, at the Cannes Film Festival in France in June last year.

Although they have never confirmed they are a couple, it's been widely reported that they are dating.
