Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder is devastated that his dog has been kidnapped.

Rare Lhasa Apso mutt Oscar was stolen when the singer was filming a cameo appearance on Channel 4 show Shameless in Manchester.

‘I'm gutted,’ Shaun, 45, says. ‘I hope we find him soon. Life’s not the same without him.’

Insiders fear a local gang might have taken the pooch.

‘There were a whole bunch of dodgy-looking characters around when they filmed,’ a source tells The Sun.

‘The fans were laughing because you wouldn’t expect a hard man like Shaun to have such a cute dog.’
