Eva Longoria is 'desperate to get pregnant'

Desperate Housewives actress wants a baby

Actress Eva Longoria and Tony Parker are said to be trying for a baby

Eva Longoria has told friends she's hoping to have a baby as soon as possible.

The Desperate Housewives actress is currently playing a mum-of-two in the latest series of the US show.

And executive producer Marc Cherry says she wants a child of her own.

‘Eva is desperately trying to get pregnant with [husband] Tony Parker,’ he tells US Weekly.

'After they phone their doctor, she promised me I will be the next call.

‘[Her character] Gaby is having a very tough time being the mother of two overweight, hyperactive children.

'But Eva is having a marvellous time playing her!’

Eva, 33, has made no secret of wanting kids. Earlier this year she said she wanted a whole basketball team of them.

She wed professional basketball player Tony, 26, last year.
