Christian Bale 'assault case won't go to court'

The Dark Knight actor could be cautioned

Christian Bale's film The Dark Knight has taken over $400m at the US box office

Christian Bale will not have to go to court over claims he assaulted his mum and sister, according to reports.

The Dark Knight star was arrested last month after an alleged row with Jenny, 61, and Sharon, 41, at London's Dorchester Hotel.

The Crown Prosecution Service is said to have advised police to caution the actor if he pleads guilty when he answers bail next month.

Christian, 34, denies the allegations.
