Hayden Panettiere's dad arrest 'blown out of proportion'
Heroes star Hayden Panettiere's parents have played down dad Alan's arrest for domestic violence.
Police were called to the family home after it was alleged he punched wife Lesley during an argument last weekend.
But they insist everything’s fine between them.
‘It was all a big misunderstanding,’ they tell Extra.
‘Nothing actually happened. [We] love each other very much and want everyone to know that the matter was completely blown out of proportion.’
It's thought the couple had started arguing during an evening at Eva Longoria’s restaurant Beso.
Police confirmed they arrested Alan, 49, and he cooperated fully.
He has been released on £25,000 bail.
