New Kids On The Block were huge in the 80s and 90s

New Kids On The Block reckon they could be to blame for damaging the ozone layer.

The boys – Donnie Wahlberg, 38, Danny Wood, 39, Joey McIntyre, 35, Jordan Knight, 38, and Jonathan Knight, 39 – think it's because they overused styling products back in their 80s heyday.

'The amount of hairspray we wore created 14 holes in the ozone layer above New Zealand,' says Donnie. 'We single-handedly destroyed parts of Mars.'

But Jordan isn't bothered about their previous cheesy image.

'It sounds funny but I loved putting on make-up,' he says.
