SHOCK! Hayden Panettiere's dad arrested

Police called to their LA home after night out at Eva Longoria's restaurant

Hayden Panettiere has not commented on her father's arrest in the early hours of yesterday morning

Heroes star Hayden Panettiere’s father Alan has been accused of hitting his wife Lesley during a row at their home in LA.

The 49-year-old was arrested for domestic violence following an evening out at Eva Longoria’s restaurant Beso.

‘There was an argument between the mother and father,’ Sgt Scott Wolf of West Hollywoof sheriffs tells People.

‘He got upset and struck the mother in the face 1 or 2 times. From what I'm told, he hit her with a closed fist.

‘The mother called police shortly before 3am and Mr Panettiere was taken into custody.’

Hayden, 19, was at home with her parents when the incident took place.

Her rep declined to comment, saying: 'This is a private matter.'
